Year 2007 is a special year to all Malaysians, it's been half a century since Tunku Abdul Rahman (the Father of Malaysia, the first Prime Minister) shouted "Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!" (Merdeka is the Malay word for "independence") on 31st August 1957. Therefore, Malaysia government has declared year 2007 as the Visit Malaysia Year (VMY).

Many events has been planned for you to celebrate this grand moment together with every Malaysian.
