Location Maps

As a traveler, map is one of the things that you need to have with you. Although you can easily get a map from airport and petrol stations, I would like to provide some maps as your travel guide too. This may give you an overview before you get here. I always feel very proud when I did find the place that I wanted to go with the help of a map. Therefore, if you find any map here that is useful for you, don't hesitate to print it out for reference.

i) Map of Ipoh city center

From this map, you can find out the location of places of interest (Ipoh Railway Station, Darul Ridzuan Museum, Birch Memorial Clock Tower, D.R. Seenivasagam Park etc.), shopping malls (The Store, Yik Foong, Ipoh Parade Pakson Grand etc.), hotels (Excelsior Hotel, Syuen Hotel etc.) and so on.

 

ii) Map of Shopping Malls

This map mainly show you the road from the exit of North South Highway to shopping malls, i.e. Tesco, Jusco.

 

iii) Map 1 of Kuala Kangsar Road (Jalan Kuala Kangsar)

This map demonstrate the 2nd exit from the North South Highway to Kuala Kangsar Road. You can find the Perak Tong (Perak Cave Temple) just along Kuala Kangsar Road.

 

iv) Map 2 of Kuala Kangsar Road (Jalan Kuala Kangsar)

This map continue from the above map of Kuala Kangsar Road. You certainly don't want to miss out the pottery for sale along the road. You can also search for the Lang Hill, which is just newly open few years ago. And, my high school - Yuk Choy, lying there too, hehe.

 

v) Map of Gunung Rapat

From this Gunung Rapat area map, you can find the way from Sultan Azlan Shah Airport to famous cave temple - Sam Poh Tong. For staying near airport, Hillcity Hotel is just opposite of those pamelo stalls.

 

vi) Map of Tambun Road (Jalan Tambun/Jalan Raja Dihilir)

This map is part of the Tambun Road and its surrounding. If you love sports, you can go to the DBI sport complex. Sometimes, there will be morning market and all kind of expo going on. The map also lead you to the Ipoh Turf Club, Polo Ground (Sultan Abdul Aziz Park), Japanese Garden, Greentown Mall, Geological museum etc.
