Flea market - Another shopping option in Ipoh
Last weekend when I was back in Ipoh, I finally got the time to visit the flea market for the first time on Sunday morning. I was impressed by the crowd when I passed by the place last time. And on the day I went to the flea market, it is crowded as usual too.

Most of the sellers are selling old stuffs or second-hand stuffs from a great range of items. There are shoes, books, magazines, kitchenwares, accessories, CDs and many more.
But what catch my eyes are those antiques available, which included cane basket, old-time radio (the really big size one), acoustic gramophone (cool!), kerosene lamp, copper cookware, phone, Hi-Fi, iron that works with charcoal etc. This got me excited.
Therefore, if you really into antiques, it's really a great place to shop around. However, if you are just going for those second-hand stuffs, you should know that some of this are stolen stuffs.
Here is a real story, my mother's friend found his stolen shoes sold at one of the stalls!
Also, since there are cheap stuffs at the flea market, it is one of the favourite shopping place for foreign workers (from Indonesia, Mymmar etc.). Some of them are illegal migrants. So, you should be extra alert of pickpocket or robber even though there are police guarding at the end of the streets.
Where is it?
This flea market has occupied about 2 main roads, which are the Horley Road and Lim Bo Seng Road. Just near to the Hotel Ipoh City and The Store shopping center.

Time?
Every Sunday morning
